OverviewThe Scrum Master serves as a servant leader for the CRAFT team, guiding Agile delivery practices to support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of an examiner workflow tool. This role facilitates Scrum ceremonies, promotes backlog hygiene, removes impediments, and coaches the team, Product Owners, and stakeholders to embrace Agile principles while supporting delivery in an AWS cloud environment.
Responsibilities- Serve as Scrum Master for the CRAFT team, facilitating Agile best practices and supporting successful delivery of the examiner workflow tool.
- Lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Coach the development team, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile values, Scrum practices, and continuous improvement.
- Partner closely with Product Owners to ensure backlog refinement, prioritization, and planning activities are effective and aligned to delivery goals.
- Identify, track, and remove blockers and impediments that affect team velocity, delivery, or collaboration.
- Promote self-organization, accountability, and high-performing team behaviors across the Agile delivery lifecycle.
- Support the team in adopting Agile techniques such as user stories, continuous integration, continuous testing, pairing, automated testing, and Agile games.
- Collaborate with management and cross-functional stakeholders to reinforce Agile transformation efforts and delivery alignment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computing Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience leading projects or key business initiatives.
- 2 years of IT portfolio and customer relationship management experience.
- At least one of the following certifications or equivalent: PMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe, or Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
- Demonstrated ability to engage and coach product teams on self-organization and continuous improvement.
- Experience working closely with Product Owners to scope and plan current and future work.
- Knowledge of Agile delivery approaches including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
- Hands-on knowledge of Agile techniques such as user stories, continuous integration, continuous testing, pairing, automated testing, and Agile games.
- Experience serving as a Scrum Master in an Agile transformation environment.
Salary: $143,900 - 151,000
