Join Aprio's Enterprise Project Management Office and you will help clients maximize their opportunities.  Aprio Advisory Group, LLC is a progressive, fast-growing firm looking for a Senior Director to join their dynamic team.

This senior leadership role oversees Aprio's ePMO, a fast-growing function of approximately 20 business analysis and project management professionals, leading the teams through their respective leaders, and owning the disciplined, well-governed delivery of the firm's strategic and transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate brings an impressive background in enterprise project and program management and business analysis, a proven ability to lead and develop other leaders, and demonstrated success partnering across a matrixed organization, including with Information Technology, to deliver shared outcomes.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead, develop, and mentor the Business Analysis and Project Management leadership team, building bench strength and succession depth while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional development.
  • Own the ePMO operating model and portfolio governance, overseeing intake, prioritization, and delivery of solutions that enhance the firm's operations and advance its strategic objectives.
  • Lead the ePMO's delivery of the firm's most complex, cross-functional programs, including firm-wide transformation, ensuring disciplined execution across multiple, staggered initiative timelines.
  • Collaborate proactively with senior and executive stakeholders across the organization to identify, prioritize, and address business needs, ensuring that solutions are fully aligned with these requirements.
  • Establish and own a partnership and joint governance model with Information Technology and other functions, aligning on shared roadmaps, AI Council and technology project delivery, and integrated planning.
  • Monitor and report on portfolio and project progress to senior and executive audiences, personally owning the accuracy and integrity of all reporting, and proactively surfacing and escalating risks, dependencies, and cross-functional issues before they affect delivery.
  • Develop and uphold best practices in project management and business analysis, ensuring alignment with industry trends and standards.
  • Provide direct, hands-on project leadership when additional capacity may be needed in high demand peaks.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Experience with a CPA firm would be an added advantage.
  • A minimum of 12-15 years of experience in business analysis and project management, including demonstrated experience leading other leaders (managers and/or directors).
  • Proven experience in managing and leading teams, preferably within a Business Advisory firm or a similar professional services environment.
  • Demonstrated success partnering with Information Technology and other functions on shared delivery and governance within a matrixed organization.
  • Sound judgment and a strong track record of accuracy and data integrity in executive- and board-level deliverables.
  • Solid understanding of IT systems, software development lifecycle, and business process improvement.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, including executive presence and the ability to influence senior leadership.
  • Certifications such as PMP, Scrum Master, or any Agile-related qualifications required.
