Job description

For this application, it is required for you to fill the next skills assessment forms: 

Senior Advanced Verification & Validation Engineer - Fill out form

Perform test execution with NPI, Maintenance release for Firmware, Cloud, Mobile application (CLSS, USDD and Fiplex product line). Leverage Automation to reduce cycle time identify automatable test cases and support automation test team to develop test scenarios and utilize developed scripts during Unit testing /Regression cycle. Perform technical support as a Beta support subject matter expert. Develop and execute test cases based on the requirement/User stories/Epic. Conduct Defect Triage process for NPI/Maintenance release for CLSS, USDD, Fiplex. Review Functional requirements and Nonfunctional requirements. Manual Functional Test execution with baselined requirements including NFR requirements. Drive Quality initiatives including Supply Chain, Tech support, and Design Metrics. Review customer documentation and installer guide for feature accuracy. Maintain hardware lab infrastructure including servers, PCs, embedded equipment, and test tools.  

Education and Occupational Experience:  

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related field of study and ten (10) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. 

Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:  

Experience must include ten (10) years involving each of the following:   

  • Linux; 
  • Radio (4G, 5G), Wireless (2.4Ghz and 5 Ghz); 
  • SQL; and 
  • Networking. 

Must possess a Six Sigma Green Belt and be a Certified Scrum Master. 

BASE SALARY: $135,762 per year 

Travel: Position requires up to 20% domestic travel to Connecticut, the headquarters for FIRE business, to meet Beta customers within the U.S. to improve their participation.
