What does your role bring to the table?
As a Snooze Assistant Manager (AM), you're stepping into leadershipwith a focus on daily operations, team support, and the ultimate Snoozer andGuest experience. Whether your jam is FOH or HOH, you'll help run high-energyshifts, keep the vibes up, and the quality consistent. You're a coach, amotivator, and a hands-on leader who's ready to grow.

This is an entry-level leadership role, perfect for someonestepping up from a Supervisor or similar leadership level role.

The Position specifics!
Taking on the role of Assistant Manager isn't just about bacon andpancakes. The responsibilities of this position include:

  • Becoming a Snoozeexpert! Be knowledgeable of our history, vendors, products, and locations.Being comfortable sharing our story with Guests is a must!
  • Completely understandall Snooze policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines andexpectations.
  • Ensure that all Guests feel welcome and are givenresponsive, friendly, courteous and exceptional service.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of Snooze's recipes and Food &Beverage Doctrine to ensure consistent preparation and presentation across allshifts.
  • Continuously monitorfood and beverage quality throughout each shift, ensuring every item meetsSnooze's standards for taste, presentation, and temperature.
  • Execute daily systemsand checklists put in place to ensure safety, sanitation, and recipe adherence.
  • Oversee and manageone or more areas of responsibility, which may include ordering, scheduling,inventory control, or hiring, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
  • Maintaincomprehensive understanding of the Point of Sale system and how to administerdiscounts and comps.
  • Control cash andreceipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures inaccordance with Snooze policies.
  • Resolve escalatedGuest concerns quickly, kindly, and professionally.
  • Update hourlySnoozers with necessary information about the shift and Snooze initiativesthrough written and verbal communication.
  • Manage the flow ofservice during shifts, ensuring an exceptional Snooze experience for bothGuests and Snoozers while keeping operational goals and objectives top of mind.
  • Monitor and evaluateSnoozer performance and lead in-the-moment coaching conversations as it relatesto the Guest experience and food quality.
  • Open and close therestaurant in accordance to set procedures and guidelines.
  • Conduct, monitor, andschedule hourly Snoozer training and support development of cross-training.
  • Verify that allequipment is kept clean and in excellent working condition through personalinspection and regular preventative maintenance.
  • Operate with a highlevel of integrity and leadership presence delivering on the Snooze LeadershipPrinciples.
  • Support execution oflocal marketing initiatives, Snooze Catering, and after-hours events on andoffsite
  • Assist in leadingsuccessful shifts with a primary focus on either Front of House or Heart ofHouse operations, while maintaining flexibility to support all areas of therestaurant to ensure smooth service and team collaboration.
  • Being a role model,facilitator, and able Snoozer in nearly all Snooze hourly positions.
  • Assist managementteam in conducting annual Snoozer Check-Ins
  • Help to create a fun,safe and rewarding work environment for all Snoozers.
  • Ensure compliancewith health, safety, labor, and food handling regulations
  • Other tasks, duties,and responsibilities as assigned to meet Snooze's business and operationalneeds.

  • Have knowledge offood, beverage, and service, generally involving 2+ years of restaurant-relatedexperience in an hourly or managerial position.
  • Possesses excellentbasic math skills and can operate a Point of Sale system and conduct basic cashmanagement.
  • Are leaders amongsttheir team and have experience in elevated roles as either a Supervisor orManager
  • Have confidence ineither FOH or HOH and are ready to enhance their skillsets in both

Compensation Details:
Full Salary Range:$57,000 - $67,000
Hiring Range:$57,000 - $62,000
New Snoozers typically start within the hiring range, with movement through the full salary band based on demonstrated mastery of core competencies, expanded skillset, and sustained performance over time. This allows us to create meaningful opportunity for growth.
