Job Summary:
Netpace Inc is seeking a Support Design Automation Software Engineer II to collaborate with design teams in debugging CAD related problems. The role involves developing scripts to enhance design efficiency and providing Linux IT-related support.
Responsibilities:
• Together with design teams to debug CAD related problems.
• Develop scripts as needed to improve design efficiency and productivity.
• Linux IT-related support and trouble-shooting.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Progressing in or Graduated from Master or Ph.D. in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering with 1 year of work experience in the relevant areas.
• Experience with one or more of the following: Python programming
• Experience with one or more of the following: Cadence Virtuoso Analog Design Environment
• Experience with one or more of the following: Understand analog design flow, including design entry, simulation, layout verification and parasitic extraction.
• Experience with one or more of the following: Understanding of revision control methods and programs
• Experience with one or more of the following: Familiar with Linux/Unix operation system and be capable of write scripts with Shell and other utilities.
• Experience with one or more of the following: Capability to debug and solve CAD related problems.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
