Senior Accountant (Part-time/Onsite - Naperville, IL)

Diversified Services Network (DSN) is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Part-Time Senior Accountant to join our team at our corporate office in Naperville, Illinois. This position is ideal for an accounting professional with extensive experience, preparing financial statements and working with Peachtree (Sage 50) Accounting Software.

Position Summary

The Part-Time Senior Accountant will support the company's accounting and financial reporting functions by maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and assisting with month-end and year-end close activities. This individual will work closely with company leadership to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Maintain and update financial records using Peachtree (Sage 50) Accounting Software.
  • Perform general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, and journal entries.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and other balance sheet accounts.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Review financial data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with GAAP.
  • Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for audits and financial reporting.
  • Assist with budgeting, financial analysis, and other accounting projects assigned.
