Job description

Software Engineering & Development (a/k/a Workday Integrations Specialist) (State Street Bank and Trust Company; Quincy, Massachusetts): As part of IT team, will build, implement, and maintain inbound and outbound integrations within the Workday application. Be completely hands-on and work as a team member supporting all integration related activities; Creation of new inbound and outbound integrations from Workday HCM, North America Payroll and Time/Absence modules; Oversee the complete project lifecycle, including project status reporting to stakeholders; Support and enhance current inbound and outbound integrations to/from internal and external vendors; Schedule integrations and monitor schedules and error logs; Develop and maintain job schedules using Autosys JIL; Troubleshoot Autosys file delivery processes; Build and maintain Unix shell scripts that execute NDM and SFTP file transfer commands that will be used in Autosys processes; Troubleshoot and assist in resolving production issues related to integration file creation and delivery; Create action plans to resolve issues in a timely manner and to ensure issues are not recurring; Participate in Semi-Annual release testing of integrations; Act in an advisory role on assessment and implementation of new Workday integration release features; Participate in design sessions, development, testing and implementation of new and updated integrations; Create or update system documentation; Partner closely with HR, internal and external vendors, as needed, when building, testing and deploying integrations; For GHR Portfolio, participate in all governance activities related to onboarding new applications; Manage and support activities related to data extraction and data migration from legacy GHR applications; Clear understanding of roles, permissions, entitlements and approval workflows for different Global Human Resource Applications to help facilitate proper Identity and Access Management implementations. Hybrid telecommuting from within the U.S. permitted pursuant to Company policy.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or its equivalent; 5 years of software development experience.

Total experience above must include the following: 3 years of experience supporting human capital management and payroll systems; 3 years of Workday Integrations experience. Must also have the following: Proven experience and ability with Workday Studio, Workday Report Writer, Document Transformation, XLST, XML, Workday EIB, Workday Connectors, SOAP and REST APIs; Proven experience with building and maintenance of Workday calculated fields and integrations systems security; Proven experience building file transfer related Unix shell scripts; Proficiency with Autosys job scheduler and Job Information Language (JIL); Knowledge and experience using Network Data Mover (NDM) for secure file transfer; Demonstrated strong Workday HCM knowledge and technical skills; Demonstrated knowledge of Workday security administration; Strong technical and working knowledge of HR systems and applications including: Workday, Peoplesoft and Sailpoint; Competency in all aspects of the software development lifecycle; Demonstrated solid oral and written communication skills; Proven ability to effectively multi-task with tight deadlines independently and within a team environment. Salary Range:

$178,131 - $195,944 Annual
