Job Summary:
InterSystems is a creative data technology provider that delivers a unified foundation for next-generation applications in various sectors including healthcare. The Senior Quality Development Engineer will work as a technical specialist in an Agile team, focusing on enhancing the quality and performance of clinical software.
Responsibilities:
• Contribute as a technical specialist in a cross-functional Agile development team building and maintaining clinical software.
• Develop non-functional and structural testing strategies to validate application performance, security, and interoperability.
• Collaborate with other Agile teams on joint projects to advise and deliver work of high quality and caliber.
• Identify, document and bring awareness to functional and non-functional issues in application from design through to validation.
• Create and maintain a suite of automated regression test scripts for continuous integration systems.
• System management tasks to support testing activities.
• Design and build custom tools and scripts to support testing activities.
• Other duties may be directed by the company from time to time.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Tertiary qualification in IT or related discipline.
• 5+ years professional IT experience.
• Understands web development technologies.
• Experience working with interdisciplinary teams.
• A flexible and adaptable approach to learning new methodology, technologies and software products.
• Good understanding of the SDLC and software testing principles.
Preferred:
• Experience in testing AI is advantageous.
• Qualifications and/or certifications in AI are advantageous.
• Technical proficiency in at least 1 programming language is advantageous.
• System administration or DevOps experience is advantageous.
