Job Description

Day to Day Duties/Summary of job:

Doctor-Call Pharmacy Techs:

Responsible for obtaining new and existing prescription renewals from dialysis facilities and/or physician offices through verbal authorizations via inbound/outbound calls

Securing prescription orders for patients whose prescriptions are not on file or for existing prescriptions that have no refills

Making outbound calls to follow up with Doctors regarding prescription issues, i.e. new scripts, clarify scripts, codes are incorrect, etc.

Preferred: Techs with a background in retail or mail order environment!

Monday - Friday, 9am-6pm

Competitive salary, $15-17 per hour (based on relevant experience)

Qualifications

Requirements: 

1+ year(s) of experience as a Certified Pharmacy Technician in Texas (no disciplines on file)

Strong customer service skills

Data entry and fill experience

Excellent communication skills (listening, oral, and written)
