Medical Scribe
Sheth Horsley Eye center is currently hiring for a knowledgeable Medical Scribe to assist our office team with documenting patient medical records. The successful applicant will be responsible for documenting accurate and detailed information of patient visits. The Medical Scribe will provide a high level of customer service to patients, adhere to practice protocols and processes, and effectively manage a high volume of work without allowing quality to be compromised.

Responsibilities/Duties:
  • Utilize Electronic Medical Records System (NexTech)
  • Assist Doctors with inputting information into EMR system accurately
  • Ensures confidentiality by completing and safeguarding medical records
  • Reviews Medications with patients and Eprescribes to pharmacies
  • Provides an Outstanding Patient experience!
  • Counsels patients by providing information regarding treatment, use of drops and drugs
  • Is an ambassador for laser vision correction and cataract surgery
  • Books patient appointments
  • Assist the office staff with patient care
  • Maintain a clean and professional working environment
  • Assist with surgical coordination
  • Keep exam rooms well stocked
Qualifications:
