As a Security Officer Screening Operations in Perrysburg, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help monitor access, screen people and/or materials, and support smooth daily operations. In this role, you will provide strong customer service, clear communication, and a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related screening procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Screen people, packages, bags, and/or personal property entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and screening protocols.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document screening activity, incidents, and/or irregularities in a clear and timely manner.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, with attention to shipping, receiving, dock, and warehouse areas where conditions may vary by site.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
