Description
The Production - Screen Printing role is responsible for a wide range of responsibilities at Interstate Graphics including creating screens for screen printing equipment & running screen printing equipment. This specific role will start focused on creating screens for the screen-printing departments
One of the foundations of Interstate Graphics is our employee's ability to be flexible and assist each other to meet our company goals, serve our customers and each other. Although our job descriptions define most of our functions all employees are expected to lend a hand when events arise.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Run screen printing machines - M&R Insignia and Sakurai
  • Create Screens
  • Keep screen and tools organized and in proper locations
  • Move material from warehouse to production or packing
  • Repair of machines as needed
  • Ensure their area is clean and organized
  • Work with team members to complete projects
  • 5S or lean projects as assigned
  • Utilize ERP to manage job workflow

SECONDARY FUNCTION
  • Be direct backup for team members as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Ability to manage internal partners
  • Initiative & follow-through
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously
  • Conflict Management/Composure
  • M&R Insignia - 3 years preferred
  • Sakurai - 3 years preferred
  • Manufacturing machine experience - 5 years

SKILLS (Language, Mathematical, Reasoning, Other)
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and exceptional drive for results
  • Ability to close out jobs in ERP
  • Willingness to learn new skills

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • General production - Lifting, bending, standing, sitting, walking, twisting, hand grasping, driving/foot control, pushing, pulling, talking/hearing, reach above shoulder
  • Computer, telephone, packing and assembly equipment
  • Running screen printing machines and repair
