MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Schedule: 7am - 3:30pm
Location: Rochester, NY
We have an immediate opening for a Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for
  • Inspecting, installing, maintaining and performing primary repair of mechanical equipment involved with operating and maintenance of the building systems.
  • Maintaining and making repairs on mechanized, electrical and/or automated equipment.
  • Diagnosing operating problems, making repairs and adjustments to maintain equipment at optimum operating efficiency.
  • Reading and interpreting prints, sketches, drawings, equipment manuals and diagrams.

The incumbent will work with and alongside a small team of maintenance technicians as well as other departments to obtain optimum manufacturing objectives.
Minimum Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Willing to obtain Forklift license and First Aid training.
  • 5 years of general maintenance in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in the following areas preferred: industrial electrical, general assembly, repair and maintenance of hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems.
  • Must be able to life and move objects up to 50 pounds at a time; up to 80 pounds occasionally.
  • Must be physically able to climb ladders, reach above head, bend or crawl and work in small spaces on a regular basis.
  • Ability to regularly move about the facility and sit, bend, stoop or kneel
