We are seeking experienced Screen Print Operators to join our 1st shift screen print team.
Pay Rate:
  • For individuals with experience operating large machines, the pay starts at $18/hour + $.50 perfect attendance incentive.
  • For individuals with experience specific to operating a large screen printing machine, pay will be commensurate with your experience.

Job Summary :
The Screen Print Operator is responsible for operating screen printing equipment and ensuring the timely production of high-quality printed garments. This role involves adhering to safety protocols, following established production guidelines, and maintaining an organized workspace. The operator will prioritize work orders, set up printing machines, conduct test prints, and collaborate with team members to address quality issues. A strong focus on safety, quality assurance, and continuous improvement is essential, along with effective communication and problem-solving skills. Essential Functions:
  • Obtain work orders and technical sheets, prioritizing orders according to standard work guidelines.
  • Set up hit orders and screens based on the technical specifications.
  • Ensure all screens and platens are correctly positioned and secured before production.
  • Conduct test prints on scrap materials, making necessary adjustments for garment approval.
  • Participate in the final inspection approval process at each inspection station.
  • Operate production orders efficiently, utilizing lasers and proper garment loading techniques.
  • Monitor ink and supply levels throughout the production run to maintain quality.
  • Contribute ideas to enhance production processes and overall efficiency.
  • Maintain clear communication with production leads and machine operators regarding feedback and quality issues.
  • Adhere to established safety protocols, including the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Regularly assess the work area for potential safety hazards.
  • Learn and implement standard procedures for the final inspection process, including prioritization, machine setup, and test printing.
  • Collaborate with team members to uphold a clean and organized workspace following 5S principles.
  • Ensure that safety devices on all equipment are functioning properly and report any maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.

Qualifications & Skills:

Physical Requirements & Conditions:
  • Ability to stand and walk for 8+ hours per day
  • Proficiency in using tools for equipment maintenance and operation
  • Comfortable working in moderate to hot temperatures, with potential exposure to fumes and chemicals
  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and twist on a regular basis
