Position Overview
The Part-Time Student Assistant, Clerk performs basic clerical and administrative support duties. Successful completion of a Level I background screening (at no cost to the student) is a condition of employment for this position.
What you will be doing
  • Files, answers phones, sorts incoming mail, delivers outgoing mail, and assists with front desk duties
  • Restocking copiers and printers as needed
  • Prepares and processes all necessary forms
  • Types correspondence
  • Assists with inventory of supplies and replenishing when needed
  • Assists with coordination of special projects as assigned
  • Performs other duties as assigned
What you need to succeed
  • High School Diploma or equivalent accredited GED; must qualify for financial aid and be enrolled in at least six (6) college credits.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Ability to consistently provide a friendly and positive disposition
  • Possess basic office environment clerical filing, typing, and reporting skills
  • Ability to work well in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment with students, faculty and staff
