Now Hiring: Bowling TechnicianLocation: Apex Entertainment, Virginia BeachDo you have a knack for mechanical systems and a passion for keeping things running smoothly? Apex Entertainment is seeking a skilled Bowling Technician to maintain and service our bowling lanes and equipment. This is a hands-on role where your expertise ensures guests enjoy safe, seamless, and fun bowling experiences.If you're ready to apply your technical skills in a high-energy, guest-focused environment - we want to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:Equipment MaintenanceMaintain and repair Brunswick GSX pinsetters, Custodian lane machines, scoring systems, ball returns, bowling balls, and related componentsPerform routine service and preventative maintenance on all bowling equipmentClean, adjust, and troubleshoot automated scoring systemsParts & RepairsIdentify and order necessary replacement parts and suppliesPerform major overhauls and rebuilds as needed to keep equipment in top conditionBudget & PlanningAssist in planning and managing service and maintenance budgetsContribute to long-term repair and improvement plans for bowling equipmentRecord Keeping & TrainingKeep accurate records of maintenance, repairs, parts usage, and equipment performanceTrain and supervise hourly pin chaser staff on basic equipment care and safetySkills & Qualifications:High school diploma or GED requiredMinimum 2 years' experience maintaining and repairing bowling and pinsetter equipment (Brunswick preferred)Completion of a Brunswick training program is a plusMust be at least 18 years oldStrong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skillsAbility to use hand tools, power tools, lubrication and testing equipmentMust be safety-conscious and able to work independentlyPhysical Requirements & Working Conditions:Able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs multiple times per shiftComfortable with tasks involving sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, and twistingWill work primarily indoors with occasional exposure to extreme temperatures or loud noiseMay face risks associated with mechanical or electrical equipmentPerks & Benefits:Join a dedicated team that values service and funCompetitive pay and career advancement opportunitiesFree access to attractions50% off select food itemsFlexible scheduling that supports work-life balanceReady to keep the lanes rolling and guests smiling?Apply now to become a Bowling Technician at Apex Entertainment - and help create unforgettable moments behind the scenes!
