Job description

This Opportunity

WSP USA, Inc is seeking an experienced environmental professional with a strong professional network, technical skills and a proven history of successfully completing sales in a seller/doer capacity. This individual will interface with both internal and external clients; be dynamic, creative, quality driven, have excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; and be a proactive problem solver. The WSP Portland, Maine Office offers the opportunity to work on technically challenging projects for a wide range of clients throughout the US from the relaxed environment of a small, vibrant city. 

The ideal candidate for this position will have at least 10 years of environmental consulting experience in the fields of environmental engineering, environmental science, geology and/or hydrogeology. A thorough understanding of current state and federal environmental regulations (RCRA, CERCLA...) and the ability to forecasts and advise on regulatory trends is a must. A successful candidate will be supported by a wide range of technical professionals within the Portland office and the greater WSP USA network.

Who You Are

Required Qualifications

  • BS or MS degree in environmental engineering, environmental science, geology or related field.
  • Professional licensure or certification
  • 10+ years' environmental consulting experience including project management and sales. 


Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP Certification
  • Project experience related to resiliency and sustainability
  • 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER Training is a plus.

Compensation:
Expected Salary (all locations): $102,200 - $151,800
WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant's sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.
