Position:  Science Teacher Grade 7

Location:  Gardiner Regional Middle School

Date Position Available:  2026-2027 School Year

Qualifications:  Appropriate State of Maine Certification (020) General Elementary, (350) Science Physical or (395) Science - Life and current CHRC authorization through the State of Maine Department of Education.

Description:  M.S.A.D. #11 is currently seeking a team oriented, energetic, and creative educator to join the Gardiner Regional Middle School teaching staff as a Science Teacher. Knowledge of and experience with designing engaging, real world lessons with consideration toward the 5 E model.

Additional Information:  G.R.M.S. is continually striving to establish solid connections with students and families/guardians.  During the 2026-2027 school year we will continue to work on student academic growth as well as increasing the use of data to support the academic growth of our students.  At GRMS we work with MTSS (Multi-Tiered Systems of Support) that has integrated SEL and Academic supports for all students. Any candidate must have solid communication skills and knowledge of academic interventions is strongly desired.

Teacher Pay Scale (2025-2026) Pending Negotiations

Placement on the scale is dependent upon degree and experience.
