Environmental Scientist Intern
Department: Transportation
Employment Type: Internship
Location: Orlando, FL

Description
If you're a student looking to gain experience in Environmental Scientist, consider DRMP. While classes and labs are a good foundation to becoming an Environmental Scientist, the real-world experience and hands-on application you gain through interning will solidify your decision to become an environmental professional.
*Internships can last anywhere from 3 months to 24 months - depending on mutual interest and availability.
Through DRMP's college internship opportunity, students will gain practical experience while earning a degree and exploring a potential career path as an Environmental Scientist.

Primary responsibilities include:
• Assist with protected species wildlife surveys
• Wetland verification and evaluation
• Preparation of environmental technical documents. GIS capabilities preferred.
What you'll need
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelors of Science degree program in Environmental Studies or Biology
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
