Job description

As the Financial Analyst, Global Science & Technology, you will deliver and enhance financial and accounting solutions that support multiple business and corporate S&T stakeholders. This includes designing, supporting and implementing processes and procedures intended to achieve the strategic goals of the S&T function while ensuring optimization of investments and resources deployed by the stakeholders.

You will report to the Finance Manager, S&T and work with the leaders of the various business and corporate teams. You will have a hybrid work schedule from our Allison Park, PA R&D Center.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the annual budget creation, submission and management/tracking of the actual functional and budget spend for each area (e.g. business unit, corporate R&D facility)
  • Improve the visibility, analysis and management of functional costs and spending
  • Lead and implement solutions to ensure an equitable allocation of services
  • Execute established internal controls, including documentation and design of key controls
  • Provide and present financials and analysis to stakeholders
  • Provide forecasts for short- and long-term planning cycles
  • Create and provide executive summary presentations for senior leadership including requirements of Operating Committee slides and the annual functional review
  • Support teams in development and tracking of larger ACTs
  • Involvement or leadership of critical projects consistent with function or enterprise strategies (e.g. New Product Development processes, rollout of Global Budget Visibility tool)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business with 2+ years of relevant professional experience in Finance and Accounting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work with senior executive level on frequent basis; established analytical skills
  • Strong project management and delivery skills
