Job description

Project Manager

Responsible for managing the complete life cycle of large projects identified as priorities within the company. This includes defining business objectives, vision, success criteria and measurement, budget and/or ROI analysis, scope, developing an implementation plan and project management throughout the project. This also includes standard and thorough documentation of these processes, excellent communication with business owners and other constituents.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops Project Business Benefit Analysis in collaboration with Business Owner and other key stakeholders including Business Analysts. Works with business owner through project initiation and prioritization process.
  • Establishes and oversees effort to scope the project, determine project objectives, approach and deliverables. Responsible for successful delivery and implementation of project within scope and on schedule and on budget.
  • Develops and maintains project plans. Monitors project progress and performance to ensure completion of tasks, subtasks, and deliverables on schedule.
  • Provides timely and effective communication of project status and key milestones to all stakeholders.
  • Identifies and manages risk and issues that jeopardize successful and timely completion of all project related tasks and deliverables.
  • Identifies and manages resource requirements and constraints. Understands roles and responsibilities of each project team member in order to effectively utilize and administer team resources and activities.
  • Ensures resources are assigned to create appropriate test planning and execution, documentation and training, manages implementation and transition activities including lessons learned.
  • Supports business owners in tracking success metrics for reporting and tracking.
  • Utilizes, contributes to, and trains others on Project Management methodology.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Business Degree required preferably in Business Administration or Computer Science
  • Project Management Certification or some completed course work
