Job Description: Client located in Lakewood, Colorado is seeking a Project Manager for a long term contract position. ย This position will report to the Program Manager and participate on a team of project managers who are responsible for spearheading innovations regarding the enhancement of existing medical device products as well as new medical device products - three to four projects at one time. ย This will involve gathering requirements, creating project schedules, managing project schedules and reporting to upper management regarding progress. ย This position does not have direct reports, but will matrix manage engineers and scientists assigned to the project.

Qualifications

Required Skills:
1)ย Formal / professional project management.
2) Managing projects related to product research / development / engineering.
3)ย PMP certification.
Desired Skills:
1) FDA or other regulatory environment.
2) Medical device projects.
3) Six Sigma or LEAN certifications.
