Job Overview

The Sr. Manager, Strategic Project Mgmt. leads complex,crossfunctionalprograms that are critical to DePuy Synthes' growth, transformation, and operational excellence. This role providesenterpriselevelproject leadership, translating strategy into execution while ensuring delivery on scope, timeline, budget, and quality. The position is highly visible, partnering with senior leaders to drive business outcomes, standardizebestinclassproject practices, and enable sustainable change across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple,largescalestrategic initiatives and interdependent programs aligned to business priorities and transformationobjectives.

  • Define project scope, success metrics, timelines, resource plans, and budgets; ensure disciplined execution and benefit realization.

  • Partner with senior leaders andcrossfunctionalstakeholders to align priorities, resolve risks, and remove execution barriers.

  • Establish and govern project management standards, tools, and best practices to improve consistency and delivery performance.

  • Provide clear,executivelevelcommunication on project status, milestones, financial health, and risks.

  • Proactivelyidentifydependencies, risks, and change impacts; develop mitigation and change management plans.

  • Lead and mentor project managers and team members, fostering accountability, development, and high performance.

Qualifications

Education

  • Required:Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field

Experience and Skills

  • 8-10 years of progressive experience in project and/or program management within a complex, matrixed organization.

  • Demonstrated success leadingenterpriselevel,crossfunctionalinitiatives with significant scope and impact.

  • Proven leadership, influencing, and stakeholder management capabilities at senior levels.

  • Expertise inproject governance, risk management, budgeting, and performance tracking.

Preferred:
