Overview

Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) has an exciting opportunity for a Predictive Technologies Manager, supporting the Test Operations and Sustainment contract, at Arnold Engineering and Development Complex at Arnold, AFB, TN. The Predictive Technologies Manager will be working as a member of an integrated team responsible for operating, maintaining and supporting the United States Air Force Test Operations and Sustainment efforts.

Job Summary

The Predictive Technology (PT) Supervisor leads the strategic planning, execution, and expansion of the organization's PT and Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM) programs. This role directs PT personnel, collaborates with Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) teams to optimize equipment health plans, and oversees the efficient scheduling and execution of maintenance tasks. Additionally, the supervisor champions predictive maintenance benefits organization-wide, tracks program metrics and cost savings, and develops the strategic roadmap for integrating new predictive technologies.

The successful candidate will have a proactive mindset and a strong background in applied predictive technologies as they relate to the health of industrial equipment, including vibration analysis, contact and non-contact ultrasound, thermography, online and offline electrical testing, and tribology.

Job Duties:

  • Coordinate and direct all Predictive Technology leads in the planning and execution of their respective technology programs.
  • Provide monthly data, reports, and success stories regarding the PT program internally to Branch Manager, upper management, company asset owners and externally to clients as required.
  • Support the Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) group in providing technical input to Equipment Maintenance Plans (EMPs) as well as adding/altering health monitoring actions to the PT program based on EMPs, Root Cause Analysis (RCAs), etc.
  • Promote and educate personnel outside of the PT group of the benefits and technical requirements of the CBM/PdM program.
  • Work with the PT planner/scheduler and CBM craft supervision to ensure CBM PMs are activated as needed, executed as required, and closed in a timely manner.
  • Conduct PT scheduling meetings to ensure asset health data is collected as available, both efficiently and on-time.
  • Work with ongoing projects in PT such as the CBM wireless network project to guide the expansion of the Predictive Technologies initiative.
  • Track program findings to conclusion including cost savings and avoidances for PT program.
  • Develop and be responsible for maintaining the roadmap for the expansion of the PT program including introduction of new/enhanced technologies to the overall PT program.
  • It is a condition of employment to wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) in accordance with supervisory direction and company policy.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Grade 09: Minimum of eight years of progressive and relevant work experience. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 15 years' experience in a predictive maintenance or reliability role.
  • Grade 10: Minimum of 11 years of progressive and relevant work experience. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 18 years' experience in a predictive maintenance or reliability role.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Department of War Secret level security clearance and access to the AEDC local area network
  • Current U. S. Citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active certifications in Vibration, Thermography, Tribology, Ultrasonics and/or Electrical Testing analysis
  • Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP), Certified Reliability Leader (CRL), or other maintenance and reliability professional certifications
  • Experience implementing Predictive Maintenance programs, including creating program roadmaps, managing projects, tracking findings, and selling program benefits
  • Active Department of War Secret security clearance
