The Medical Laboratory Scientist II is responsible for the efficient, accurate identification and technical analysis of various constituents or organisms present in the human body that may be responsible for and/or related to disease. A Medical Laboratory Scientist II is responsible for and reviews all technical work performed by Lab Assistants. Medical Laboratory Scientist II performs laboratory testing within all areas of the Lab.
Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology from an accredited college or university and meeting requirements of Alabama State Board of Health and CLIA personnel requirements for a Technologist. Experience: None
Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations: American Society of Clinical Pathologists, American Medical Technologist, MT (ASCP)/MLS, MT (AMT)
