Role Description The French Teacher role at LaKenz Agency is a part-time, on-site position based in South Miami, FL. The French Teacher will work a few hours per week, in the afternoons. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching classes, assessing student progress, and providing individualized support where needed. The role involves collaborating with colleagues, and maintaining accurate records of student performance. The French Teacher is also expected to foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes cultural appreciation and respect.


Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is fluent in French, with a near-native or native level of proficiency.
  • Has experience and/or formal training in teaching French, preferably to children.
  • Has experience working with children and understands how to engage and motivate young learners.
  • Is dynamic, creative, patient, and caring, with a genuine interest in children’s development and success.
  • Enjoys a playful and interactive approach to language learning through games, activities, songs, stories, and creative activities.
  • Is willing to fully embrace and implement the teaching methodology and resources provided by LaKenz Agency.
  • Is committed to creating a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment that encourages children to develop their French skills with confidence.
  • Is reliable, organized, and professional, with the ability to follow lesson plans and maintain consistent schedules and communication.
  • Is available to teach in person in the South Miami area.
  • Is legally authorized to work in the United States.
