Job description

The Certified Science Secondary Teacher will join the General Secondary Education Team to deliver high-quality science education to secondary students. Reporting directly to the School Principal, this role is pivotal in fostering a stimulating and safe learning environment that encourages scientific inquiry and skill development.


Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver comprehensive science lessons aligned with curriculum standards
  • Instruct students in classroom settings, promoting engagement and understanding
  • Assess student progress through various evaluation methods
  • Supervise and enforce safety protocols in science laboratory activities

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience teaching secondary science
  • Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education or a Science-related field
  • Certification in Secondary Science Teaching

We are an Accredited Private school that maintains a low student to teacher ratio. We have school Monday through Thursday from 9:00-1:00 pm with a focus on the core classes of Math, ELA, Science, and Social Studies. Our students comprise children that public schools tend to leave behind because they do not have the time or resources to provide the extra effort to help them be successful.
