Work you'll do

As a Senior Consultant, Life Science Market Access on the Deloitte Life Sciences & Health Care practice team, you will support the delivery of Market Access, pricing, and reimbursement engagements for Life Sciences clients while continuing to build your consulting and domain skillset.

  • Support Market Access workstreams spanning pricing, reimbursement, payer strategy, value communication, and evidence generation.
  • Work with client access strategy, medical, and commercial leaders to help address market access priorities and contribute to actionable recommendations.
  • Translate business questions into structured analyses, synthesized insights, and client-ready deliverables.
  • Contribute to day-to-day client delivery, including working sessions, timelines, risks, dependencies, and communications.
  • Participate in practice initiatives, professional development, and the use of analytics and artificial intelligence-enabled tools to improve delivery quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in Market Access, pricing, reimbursement, Life Sciences, healthcare, or strategy consulting
  • 5+ of experience supporting projects or analyses related to Market Access, payer strategy, reimbursement, healthcare strategy, or Life Sciences commercial topics
  • 5+ Experience serving pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or other Life Sciences clients through project support, analysis, or engagement delivery is preferred
  • Ability to travel 30%+, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Preferred:

  • Exposure to artificial intelligence tools in day-to-day workflow
  • 2+ years evaluating healthcare value chain economics and stakeholder incentives
  • Foundational understanding of the US Life Sciences ecosystem, including payer dynamics, reimbursement pathways, access challenges, and evidence requirements
  • Experience supporting workstreams in pricing, reimbursement, payer strategy, value communication, or evidence generation
  • Experience participating in client working sessions and presenting analyses or recommendations to stakeholders
  • Experience using analytics tools to support business insights and recommendations

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $128.000-$252,500.
