PRIMARY PURPOSE:

The MTSS Coordinator is responsible for leading, developing, and implementing a comprehensive Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework to ensure Pre-Kindergarten through twelfth grade students receive academic, behavioral, and social-emotional support. This role involves collaboration with teachers, administrators, and support staff to promote data-driven decision-making, equitable practices, and student success.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Certification/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, School Psychology, or related field (required)
  • Master's degree preferred

Experience:ย 

  • Minimum of 35 years of teaching or related school-based experience
  • Experience with MTSS, RTI, or PBIS frameworks preferred

Skills & Competencies:ย 

  • Strong knowledge of data-driven instruction and intervention strategies
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and leadership skills
  • Ability to analyze and interpret student data effectively
  • Knowledge of special education processes and compliance requirements
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
