The role of the Assistant Operations Manager is to assist the Operations Manager in achieving the financial performance and revenue growth strategy for their assigned location(s). The Assistant Manager works with their Operations Manager to understand and leverage knowledge of dental services in their local market and provides support in ensuring the PDS Operational Model aka Perfect Patient Experience (PPE) is executed to gain Patients for Life (PFL). The Assistant Manager, in the absence of the Operations Manager, provides leadership and guidance to achieve individual and team success. This role is a supervisor to front office team members. The Assistant Manager supports and drives PDS's mission and culture for their assigned location(s).
Responsibilities
  • Models company culture, values, standards and best operational practices based on the We Believe Behavioral Framework
  • Acts as manager of supported practice in Operations Manager's absence
  • Plans and prepares work schedules and assigns team members to specific duties
  • Work with team members to help develop successful patient communication skills and facilitate learning
  • Creates team focus on the execution of the Owner Dentists Clinical Culture to support the PPE
  • Assisting in driving year over year revenue and profit growth
  • Ensure adherence to cash management and accounting protocols
  • Provides feedback regarding specific tactics that change financial and patient outcomes such that the rest of the organization can benefit
  • Ensure office is following PDS standards in respect to facility cleanliness and maintenance
  • Lead and participate in daily huddles and all other meetings as required
  • Demonstrates stewardship of the PDS Brand making decisions consistent with the PDS Brand framework
  • Subject Matter Expert in executing PDS' processes, systems and tools, while actively contributing to their improvement
  • Catalyst for the Perfect Patient Experience and HC Handoff are executed to gain Patients for Life
  • Supports Clinicians education and referrals regarding the Mouth-Body Connection
  • Maintains an appropriate professional appearance and demeanor in accordance with company policies; addresses others professionally and respectfully
  • Ensures Compliance with Company policies, as well as State, Federal and other regulatory bodies
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)

Preferred
  • Prior course work or on-the-job training in the fields or dentistry, insurance, or business
