Position Overview:

The Capstone Planning Group is a comprehensive financial planning and investment team conveniently located at Cornerstone Bank. The group leverages LPL Financial which has consistently been ranked the #1 independent broker-dealer in the industry. Cornerstone Bank is a community bank located in Central Massachusetts and is committed to our customers, colleagues & communities that we serve.

The Investment Operations Associate supports The Capstone Planning Group with a variety of administrative tasks. A primary function includes processing new account openings and tracking incoming and outgoing transfers. Exceptional customer service and organization skills are a must. The role involves frequent client interaction by phone, email, and in-office. This position is on-site within our Sturbridge branch.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Manage incoming phone calls
  • Greet customers in-office
  • Assist with scheduling
  • Processes and track new accounts, move money requests, and transfers
  • Prepare paperwork for client signatures
  • Upload and file documents
  • Update client contact information
  • Utilize CRM system to manage and document completed tasks
  • Adhere to all industry regulations, compliance, and branch security requirements

Qualifications:

  • Previous customer service experience required
  • Experienced with CRM system desired
  • Ability to maintain customer confidentiality
  • Must be detail oriented and able to meet strict deadlines
  • Must possess excellent communication, organizational, customer service, interpersonal, and computer skills

Education/Training/Experience:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • A general knowledge of financial industry is preferred but not required.
