The Role of a Floating Operations Associate
The Floating Operations Associate role is part of the Central Operations Team. This team member will be cross-trained in both Office Manager (OM) and School Operations Manager (SOM) responsibilities and will travel to support campuses during PTO, FMLA, and vacancies. When direct campus coverage is not needed, this role will support the goals and priorities of the Central Operations Team. This position plays a key role in ensuring smooth campus operations by supporting attendance, enrollment, family communication, front office systems, scheduling, and operational logistics while helping maintain a welcoming, organized, and student-centered environment across Rocky Mountain Prep campuses.

As a Floating Operations Associate, you'll support RMP campuses during staff transitions, busy seasons, and special projects. You'll make sure our systems run smoothly, our families feel supported, and our schools stay focused on learning.
Attendance & Enrollment
  • Drive strong attendance (95%+) and full enrollment (100% by October Count) by tracking data, supporting family engagement, and partnering with school teams.
  • Manage attendance and enrollment data in Infinite Campus to meet district and state standards.
  • Support student recruitment and serve as a family engagement liaison during key enrollment windows.

Communication & Front Office
  • Be the welcoming face and voice of the school; answer calls, greet families, and handle inquiries with warmth and professionalism.
  • Coordinate school-wide communication, including newsletters, announcements, and family letters.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to family concerns, ensuring alignment with RMP's values.

Technology & Data Systems
  • Maintain accurate student data in Infinite Campus and ensure compliance across campuses.
  • Manage student and staff devices, track repairs, and provide Tier 1 tech support.
  • Protect the confidentiality of all student and staff information.

Scheduling & Academic Operations
  • Support campus leadership with master schedule creation and student scheduling.
  • Process schedule changes and verify that all classes are coded correctly in Infinite Campus.

Campus Operations & Events
  • Provide front desk, interpretation, and logistics support across schools.
  • Coordinate event logistics from setup to communication and safety planning.
  • Manage facility, transportation, and food service requests to keep operations running smoothly.

Fiscal & Resource Management
  • Manage supply ordering and track spending in collaboration with the Assistant Principal of Operations.
  • Support uniform or supply sales, ensuring accurate cash handling and inventory management.
  • Promote efficient, transparent systems for ordering and distributing resources.

Qualifications
Required
  • Fluent in oral and written English and Spanish (required)
  • Access to a personal vehicle and ability to travel between campuses regularly, as campus support is an essential function of this role
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple operational priorities, solve problems, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced, student-centered environment
  • Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills when working with staff, students, families, and school leaders
  • Commitment to educational equity, professionalism, relationship-building, and continuous improvement across diverse school communities

Salary
This is a full-time position with a salary range of $48,000 to $72,000, based on experience and qualifications.
