Locums - Nurse Practitioner - Nurse Practitioner-NP - Irvine - California

Opportunity: LT - Gastroenterology NP

Job Details:

  • Day shift, 8-hour shifts running 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
  • This is a locums-to-permanent opportunity only, with a 1-year contract and a requirement to want a permanent role
  • Candidates will interview three times โ€” two virtual and one onsite โ€” as part of a thorough interview process similar to a permanent job search
  • Full-time coverage needed, seeing 10-12 patients per day
  • Adult patient population
  • Support staff includes 1 Gastroenterology MD and other APPs on the floor
  • NP responsibilities include patient intake, performing histories, assisting with prescriptions, evaluations, referrals, and treatment
  • Interpret tests, procedures, and radiographic studies
  • Practice setting is a clinic within an Integrative Health Institute
  • EMR system: Epic
  • Board certification, state licensure, DEA, and BLS certification required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in integrative health or 2 years of recent gastroenterology experience required
