Janitorial / Maintenance Helper

Location: Beloit, WI
Pay: $20.19/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
Part-Time Option: 4–6 hours per day may be available

Job Description

We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Janitorial / Maintenance Helper to support daily cleaning, organization, and general maintenance needs at a busy warehouse facility in Beloit, WI.

This is a hands-on position working closely with the current Maintenance team. The role will primarily focus on keeping the facility clean, organized, and running smoothly, while also assisting with various small maintenance and facility projects as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Perform general cleaning, sweeping, and housekeeping throughout the warehouse
  • Assist with 5S activities to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Operate a compactor and assist with waste and material removal
  • Assist with moving or tugging materials as needed
  • Help with small maintenance and facility projects, including painting
  • Work closely with the Maintenance team to complete daily tasks
  • Assist in different warehouse departments based on business needs
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Perform other general warehouse, cleaning, and maintenance duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Previous facility maintenance, janitorial, or general maintenance experience preferred
  • Reliable and dependable with good attendance
  • Comfortable working in a hands-on, physical environment
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to help wherever needed
  • Comfortable performing a variety of cleaning, maintenance, and general labor tasks
  • Must be comfortable working in a warehouse environment that is not temperature controlled and can become warm
  • Steel-toe shoes are required
  • Safety vest must be worn at all times while working in the warehouse
Position Details

This is a temporary position with the potential to become temp-to-hire based on business needs and performance. There is currently no set timeline for a potential permanent opportunity.

Full-time and part-time schedules may be available. Part-time candidates interested in working approximately 4–6 hours per day, Monday–Friday, may also be considered.

Pay Details: $20.19 per hour
