We are a family of 4. Two working partents who mostly work from offices on the west side of Madison. We have a very sporty 9 year old son (4th grade) and an artistic 7 year old girl (2nd grade).

Monday: 1:30-5:30 (MMSD early release)
Tuesday-Friday: 2:30-5:30
Important that start time is consistent, but can be flexible on end time (eg, 5PM) or openness to staying late (eg, 6PM) sometimes. We stive to be great communicators!

Hourly $15.00 to $20.00

Position Summary/Job Duties:
Seeking an after school helper for two elementary aged kids near downtown Madison, very close to university and on bus/bike routes.
We can be somewhat flexible with schedule, potentially even splitting the days between two individuals based on your personal or school schedule. Mondays are early release at MMSD so start at 1:30. All other days start at 2:30.
Oldest (9-year-old boy) will walk home. Our younger daughter will take the bus home and you can meet her at the bus stop.
Looking for help with light housekeeping (eg, throw on a load of towels) and structuring chores for kids (eg, they unload the dishwasher). Some snack and meal prep. Support getting them prepped and ready for after school activities and sports. We're working on building indepedence and responsibility.
Having your own car is great, but not required as we have family support and some work from home flexibility. Being home when they come home from school is most important. Reliability and direct communication are best!
Depending on the right fit and schedule, we're looking to pay between $15-20 an hour.
Qualifications:
Babysitting experience with elementary aged kids
