CNA School Opportunity

HSHS St Mary's Hospital is seeking candidates to join our CNA school. Ideal candidates are patient focused, mission driven candidates looking for an opportunity to apply clinical knowledge in a fast-paced environment. The CNA school provides practical work experience for clinical students in an environment that emphasizes patient-centered care.

CNA School Details:

  • The class will take place on Day Shift (Monday through Friday)
  • 3 weeks long: hours are 7am-3:30pm
  • Core Function: Nursing support
  • Class runs 10/5-10/20
  • Paid internship
  • There is a 1-year commitment that comes with the paid CNA training. Candidate will have to work 16 hours per week for 1 year. Students sign a contract when they start the program
  • Attendance everyday is mandatory, no exceptions
  • After completion of the program, along with passing certification tests, and meeting HSHS's onboarding requirements - will be employed as a Patient Care Assistant within HSHS Division

Education Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Experience Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of healthcare experience is preferred.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required within 30-days of employment.
  • Must be actively working toward certification/licensure in field of practice.
