Job Title: Facility Manager
Reports to: SoPakco Distribution, Inc. Greeneville/Kingsport, TN
Job Summary:
SoPakCo Facility Managers are expected to work as a valued member of the warehouse and distribution team. This position consists of managing the maintenance department, daily maintenance of equipment/facilities, and overseeing projects. As a facility manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of work while maximizing productivity. Responsibilities will include business financials, facility repair/maintenance quotes, capital projects, equipment purchases, and P & L.
Job Description/Required Skills:
• Ability to perform maintenance on equipment and facilities.
• Provide outstanding customer service.
• Must be able to cross train to work at all business locations.
• Must be able to handle a fast-paced work environment.
• Must have good time-management skills.
• Knowledge of work processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Outlook, Word, and Excel)
• Great interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ensure all associates follow policies including company rules and safety guidelines.
• Ability to make decisions, problem solving, prioritize assignments, and direct the workforce in an ever-changing, warehouse environment.
Education and Experience:
• Facility maintenance experience required.
• Transportation/Trucking knowledge is a plus.
• HVAC knowledge is a plus.
• Electrical knowledge is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor or Associate degree is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be able to sit, stand, walk, squat, kneel, twist, crawl, and bend for prolonged periods throughout the shift.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly.
• Must be able to work in severe weather conditions, both heat and cold
• Must be able to climb ladders and work in high places.
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings.
