Job description

School Food Delivery Driver - Help Fuel Young Minds!
Monday-Friday (No Nights or Weekends!)

Do you enjoy being on the move and want a job that fits your schedule? Join our school nutrition team as aDelivery Driverand play a vital role in ensuring students receive the meals they need to learn and thrive!

What You'll Do:

  • Safely drive a company vehicle to deliver food and supplies between schools in the district
  • Load and unload products with care, ensuring proper storage and delivery
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections and keep accurate logs and reports
  • Keep the delivery vehicle clean and in excellent working condition
  • Communicate with the central office as needed to ensure timely, accurate deliveries
  • Follow all local driving laws and school district policies

Other Qualifications, Experience and Competencies:

  • Speak, read and write in English required
  • 1 year driving in professional role required

  • Position may require extended hours including evenings and/or weekends, travel to multiple work sites.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • The work is performed primarily in the vehicle assigned to her/him.
  • Work requires movement in and out of store rooms and freezers
  • Exposure to extreme temperatures.
  • The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud.
