School-based Registered Behavior Technician - Full-Time:
1:1 Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a dedicated professional providing behavioral support in school settings! This contract opportunity offers meaningful work assisting students as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in environments that champion growth and positive change. Be the difference for children and teens eager to learn and thrive with specialized support.
In these dynamic roles, you will:
- Provide direct 1:1 behavioral support to students in both elementary and cross-campus Life Skills classrooms
- Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to develop and implement effective behavior intervention plans
- Utilize your expertise to de-escalate challenging behaviors with skill and compassion, especially when working with students needing higher levels of behavioral support
- Rely on your experience in crisis prevention or CPI training, particularly for positions working with more aggressive caseloads
- Track progress and document interventions to help students achieve their goals
- Foster positive, productive environments that help every student reach their potential
Ideal backgrounds and experience include:
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
- Previous experience in school-based settings is highly valued
- Expertise working with elementary, middle, or high school populations
- Background in supporting students with behavioral challenges, especially in behavior support or Life Skills classrooms
- CPI certification or prior experience managing aggressive behaviors is highly desirable for specific caseloads
