Responsibilities
  • Includes contract requirements in the schedule as directed by stakeholders.
  • Provides supporting information for the development of schedule.
  • Prepares quantity take-offs for production analysis.
  • Communicates with stakeholders to determine construction progress.
  • Completes site walks to verify the construction process with the schedule.
  • Supports the project team with schedule updates.
  • Supports interactive planning and scheduling sessions.
  • Collaborates with field supervision team on look-ahead planning.
  • Assist schedulers with monitoring and communicating the project schedules 
  • Develops and maintains strong customer-focused relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Other duties as required
Qualifications
  • Postsecondary degree or diploma in construction management, engineering or a related discipline.
  • 2 years of experience in construction. 
  • Applicable scheduling certification considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of construction specifications, building materials, methods and procedures, and the ability to read and understand construction drawings, specifications, contracts and proposal documents.
  • Understanding of planning and scheduling principles, best practices, and techniques.
  • Ability to apply engineering principles to construction challenges.
  • Working knowledge of maintaining project schedules.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment with multiple stakeholders including estimators, field supervision, subcontractors, project team and clients.
  • Advanced skills using Microsoft Office Suite and other applicable systems
  • Basic working knowledge of scheduling software such as Primavera P6 EPPM
