Work Location: Fort Hood, TX

REQUIREMENT- Must be a US Citizen and must pass a federal background review and drug screen
Position Summary
The Scheduler will provide construction scheduling support for federal construction projects at Fort Hood, Texas. The selected candidate will develop, maintain, analyze, and review project schedules using Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling techniques and Primavera P6 or other Government-approved scheduling platforms. The Scheduler will work closely with project teams to ensure compliance with contract requirements, monitor project performance, evaluate schedule impacts, and provide recommendations to support successful project delivery.
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Develop, analyze, and maintain detailed CPM construction schedules using Primavera P6 or other Government-approved scheduling software.
  • Ensure schedules reflect all phases of construction activities, contract milestones, logic ties, constraints, sequencing, and float values.
  • Review contractor baseline schedules, monthly updates, time impact analyses (TIAs), and recovery schedules for technical adequacy and compliance.
  • Verify compliance with Division 01 scheduling requirements, including schedule formats, update frequencies, narratives, milestones, and phasing requirements.
  • Identify schedule variances, analyze impacts to project milestones, and provide recommendations to mitigate delays and recover lost time.
  • Prepare written reports and present schedule findings during meetings with Government personnel and project stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with cost estimators, project engineers, and construction representatives to align project cost, schedule, and field progress.
  • Provide monthly schedule performance reports including Gantt charts, narrative analyses, trend evaluations, and completion forecasts.
  • Assist with change order preparation and evaluate schedule impacts associated with contract modifications.
  • Monitor Government-furnished services, long-lead items, and contractor submittals that may impact the critical path.
  • Review A-E estimated construction schedules to validate project periods of performance.
  • Develop initial construction schedules for in-house design projects to establish accurate contract durations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant construction scheduling experience.
  • US Army Corps of Engineering (USACE) or other federal construction project experience, preferred
  • Experience developing and managing CPM schedules using Primavera P6 or equivalent Government-approved scheduling software.
  • Strong understanding of federal construction project scheduling requirements and contract administration.
  • Experience reviewing schedule updates, TIAs, recovery schedules, and change order impacts.
  • Experience using RMS 3.0.
  • CMAA Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification preferred.
  • AACE Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP) certification preferred.
