About the Role

The Production Scheduling Assistant supports the Pocahontas Production Scheduling Supervisor and the planning and scheduling of production activities ensuring that production targets are met efficiently and effectively.

What You’ll Do

  • Ensure that material flows through the manufacturing process in accordance with timeline requirements to meet or exceed shipping requirements.
  • Coordinate with various departments and groups to ensure proper staffing, material, equipment availability and timing to achieve departmental schedules based on customer demand and ensure schedule adherence is met.
  • Evaluate raw materials utilization to minimize waste.
  • Ensure reports and schedules are organized, detailed, and reported correctly in a timely manner.

Additional Expectations

  • Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies which includes the Kingspan Group Compliance Policy.
  • Ensure that all duties related to product compliance are adhered to in accordance with the Product Compliance Policy, Laws, Regulations, and market demands.
  • Responsible for all tasks to achieve compliance goals and demands of the Compliance Management System.
  • Must raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to their supervisor, manager, or any member of the Leadership Team, or through the confidential whistle blower service.

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience: 2+ years’ previous experience in production planning and manufacturing processes.
  • Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving skills are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is often required.
  • Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with internal and external team members.
  • Education: An associate’s degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field preferred but not required.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to work on and off the shop floor throughout the work day.
