SOLV Energy is a leading provider of infrastructure services to the power industry, designing, building and maintaining utility scale solar, battery storage and high voltage substation projects nationwide.

Job Description Summary:

The Senior Scheduler will develop and maintain integrated EPC schedules from preconstruction through execution phases of projects . the sr. scheduler will closely collaborate with other schedulers and stakeholders to coordinate work between PV, battery storage, high voltage, services business units. In addition, this position requires providing oversight to schedulers with less experience. Position requires travel to jobsites to gain understanding of means and methods, and build rapport.
This role is remote with periodic travel to job sites in California, Nevada, and Washington. Specific location details and expectations will be discussed during the interview process.

Position Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Lead and mentor assigned schedulers, supporting their personal and career development.

  • Contribute to training curriculum development for company-wide schedule management.

  • Participate in company onboarding to align with projectcontrolsobjectives.

  • Develop andmaintainrealistic EPC project schedules using P6 software.

  • Analyze project documents (drawings, contracts) to form the basis of EPC schedules.

  • Perform quantity take-offs toestablishaccurateactivity durations.

  • Consult with internal teams (engineering, procurement, project management, field) for feedback.

  • Seek feedback from external stakeholders (owners, consultants) to enhance schedule accuracy and buy-in.

  • Ensure schedules adhere to CPM best practices with sound logic and realistic durations.

  • Attend project meetings (weeklycoordination, owner) to gather updates and address schedule issues.

  • Update schedules bi-monthly, incorporating actuals andmonitoringcritical path deviations.

  • Propose corrective actions to the project team based on schedule analysis.

  • Communicate schedule updates to the project teams,and thescheduling manager.

  • Perform "what-if"analysisforchangingconditions,on integrated multiple schedules.

  • Leadinternal and externalmeetings,analyzingall scopesfor schedule mitigation, proposesolutions.

  • Maintain comprehensive delay logs.

  • Maintainall relevant contract information, including LD exposure withcustom P6 reports.

  • Monitorprogress usingcompany software (sunscreen) and confirmagainstschedule updates.

  • Maintain and communicate weekly regional project statusreport.

  • Visit job sites to build rapport and understand site-specific details.

  • Trainotherpersonnel in scheduling procedures.

  • Assistbusiness development, ownersinanalyzingand improvingprojectschedules.

  • Support the maintenance of the P6 database (project/activity codes, file management, comments, notebooks).

  • Assistwith reporting efforts, ensuring core schedule structure and activity codes aremaintained.

Minimum Skills or Experience Requirements:

  • Engineering, Construction Management, or Architectural degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Minimum5yearsconstruction schedulingexperience.

  • PriorScheduling experience inan EPC environment isrequired.

  • Highproficiencyand experience using P6 Softwarerequired.

  • Strongability to read and understand plans and specifications.

  • Thoroughknowledge of construction methods and processes.

  • Solid understanding of construction-related Critical Path Methodscheduling.

  • Strongknowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point).

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, including business writing skills, and professional telephone manner.

  • Reliability,dependabilityand flexibility.

  • Ability to travelto jobsites.
