SUMMARY: The Master Scheduler will be responsible for leading the S&OP process and all supporting functions including scheduling, customer commitments, forecasting and supplier management. The role will drive and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop and manage a build plan to support our customer commitments. The plan will include a mix of internally manufactured items as well as those within the supply chain.
  • Load and manage product and customer forecasts. Ensure Sales and Product Managers provide timely inputs for on-going sales as well as new product introductions.
  • Ensure build plan is executed to deliver on customer commitments. Identify and escalate gaps in the build plan and coordinate customer response and recovery.
  • Review capacity and build requirements internally and with suppliers to assure utilization and attainment of build plan.
  • Develop, monitor and optimize supply chain programs to execute to customer lead-time expectations.
  • Delivers performance within established KPIs such as forecast accuracy and on-time delivery.
  • Analyze and report manufacturing capacities for use in predicting labor needs and schedule issues.
  • Train, develop, and evaluate employees.
  • Adheres to drives accuracy of quality system standards pertaining to the job.
  • Participate as a member of the Manufacturing management team.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations management, business administration, or related field preferred, equivalent experience considered.
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to collaborate and lead cross-functionally.
  • Very strong problem solving, analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience leading continuous improvement efforts within production planning and scheduling processes
  • Demonstrated skills using MS Office Suite applications, especially Excel.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
  • Requires sitting for periods of time.
  • Use hands to finger, handle or feel
  • Require close vision, distance visions, color visions, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Moderate noise level. Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; safety glasses, hearing protection, wrist and shoe straps, and ESD smock. Loose fitting clothing and jewelry are not permitted. No food allowed in the manufacturing area. No cell phone use allowed in manufacturing area unless approved by management.
