The engineer is responsible for ensuring systems remain up-to-date, compliant, and protected against vulnerabilities by implementing robust patch management strategies across Windows and Linux environments.

The position involves administering core services such as Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP, while also handling system configuration using tools like SCCM, Intune, and Ansible. A strong emphasis is placed on automation, with scripting in PowerShell or Python used to streamline operations and improve efficiency.

Additionally, the role requires advanced troubleshooting across multiple platforms, managing secure communications (TLS certificates), and collaborating with development teams using tools like Git and Azure DevOps.
