SUMMARY
We are looking for an experienced OSS (Onsite Support Services) Technician to provide onsite IT support at our client’s location in Crystal Springs, MS. This is a full-time onsite opportunity for an initial 90-day engagement, with a strong possibility of extension based on business needs and performance.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Provide onsite Level 1 & Level 2 technical support for laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and operating system issues.
  • Handle incidents, service requests, hardware replacements, and break/fix support.
  • Install, configure, and update Windows operating systems and approved enterprise applications.
  • Perform hardware diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
  • Support system imaging, deployment, migration, and refresh activities.
  • Install, configure, and maintain approved software applications.
  • Ensure compliance with software licensing and organizational standards.
  • Perform basic network troubleshooting including LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Coordinate with remote infrastructure and network teams for escalated issues.
  • Support conference room AV equipment and meeting room technologies.
  • Track IT assets, accessories, and inventory accurately.
  • Manage device issuance, recovery, replacement, and disposal following company procedures.
  • Maintain accurate incident and service request documentation using ITSM tools.
  • Update knowledge base articles when required.
  • Provide regular status updates to the Regional IT Manager.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in Desktop Support, IT Support, or Technical Support.
  • Strong troubleshooting experience with Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365.
  • Experience supporting desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and peripheral devices.
  • Hands-on experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, JIRA, or similar.
  • Intermediate English communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to work independently in an onsite client environment.
  • Windows 10/11 administration and troubleshooting.
  • Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft 365.
  • Basic Microsoft 365 administration.
  • Hardware troubleshooting and replacement.
  • TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN troubleshooting.
  • Remote support tools such as TeamViewer and AnyDesk.
  • Exposure to SCCM and/or Microsoft Intune is preferred.
  • Experience supporting enterprise environments.
  • Knowledge of Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions such as Microsoft Intune.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
