End User Services Desktop Engineering/Patching/Packaging

Role Overview

As an Enterprise Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implement, and manage enterprise endpoint management solutions. The role requires deep expertise in Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM) and/or Ivanti Endpoint Manager, focusing on device lifecycle management, patching, automation, and security compliance across large-scale environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and maintain SCCM/MECM and/or Ivanti Endpoint Manager infrastructure
  • Manage OS deployment (OSD), imaging, and device provisioning
  • Administer client health, agent deployment, and lifecycle management
  • Plan and execute monthly patching cycles (Microsoft & third-party apps)
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise patching SLAs
  • Integrate with vulnerability tools (Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7, etc.)
  • Package applications using MSI, App-V, PSADT, Intune Win32
  • Deploy applications via SCCM/Ivanti with minimal user disruption
  • Troubleshoot deployment issues and ensure success rates
  • Develop automation solutions using:
    • PowerShell (advanced)
    • VBScript / Batch (legacy support)
  • Automate repetitive tasks, reporting, and remediation workflows
