JOB DESCRIPTION FOR SCCM ARCHITECT
1. SCCM / MECM Expertise (Core)
- Hands-on experience with SCCM/MECM
- Server onboarding into existing SCCM infrastructure
- Client installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Boundary groups and site assignment
- Multi-domain deployment experience in SCCM
2. Windows Server Administration
- Experience with Windows Server (2012-2022)
- Troubleshooting patching and agent-related issues
3. Patch Management & Migration
- Experience migrating from third-party patching tools → SCCM
- Understanding of WSUS/SCCM patching workflows
- Managing patch deployments and maintenance windows
- Ensuring patch compliance during migration
4. Automation / Scripting
- PowerShell for:
- Bulk client deployment
- Cleanup of legacy agents
- Basic health checks
5. Infrastructure Awareness
