Title: Accounting Coordinator
Employment Type: Contract (3+ Months)

Our client, a real estate organization, is seeking an Accounting Coordinator to support its accounting and property management teams during a busy budget season. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with accounting and administrative experience who enjoys working in a collaborative, customer-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Process accounts payable invoices, including coding, scanning, and maintaining supporting documentation.
  • Prepare and distribute correspondence, notices, and other communications to tenants.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming tenant service requests, documenting issues and routing them to the appropriate property management personnel.
  • Maintain organized electronic and physical records by scanning, filing, and managing accounting and operational documents.
  • Provide administrative support to the accounting and property management teams, assisting with special projects and day-to-day operations.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely follow-up on service requests and accounting-related matters.
  • Support budgeting initiatives and other departmental projects as assigned.

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in an accounting, administrative, or office support role.
  • Experience processing accounts payable invoices and maintaining financial documentation.
  • Proficiency with a property management/accounting system (such as MRI, JD Edwards,Yardi, Procure-to-Pay platforms, or similar).
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and a customer service-oriented mindset.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience within the commercial real estate or property management industry.
  • Exposure to budgeting support and accounting project work.
