Location: All candidates of consideration must be local to Reston, VA, for this on-site role.

Print Production & Mailroom Clerk

  • Operate and maintain digital print production equipment, including Canon and Konica Minolta devices
  • Perform high-volume printing, copying, cutting, folding, binding, and finishing services
  • Prepare and format files for print production, including PDF manipulation, page setup, file combining/splitting, and quality checks
  • Monitor print queues and production schedules to ensure timely completion of jobs
  • Conduct basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance on reprographics equipment
  • Ensure all print materials meet quality and client standards before distribution
Administrative & Document Processing Support
  • Process high volumes of survey and document materials, including cutting, batching, cleaning, tracking, and preparation for scanning
  • Perform accurate data entry and database/system updates
  • Manage scanning workflows, including batch separation, file naming conventions, indexing, and quality assurance reviews
  • Upload and organize electronic files such as PDFs and DAT files within internal systems and shared drives
  • Maintain production logs, spreadsheets, and workflow documentation
  • Support records management and document retention processes, including preparation of materials for off-site storage
Mail Room & Fulfillment Operations
  • Support daily incoming and outgoing mail operations
  • Prepare and process shipments through FedEx, USPS, courier services, and other delivery vendors
  • Coordinate distribution, packaging, labeling, and delivery of completed materials
  • Assist with mailing house logistics, batch processing, and fulfillment activities
  • Maintain organized mail room and production work areas
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a production, reprographics, administrative support, mail services, or document processing environment
  • Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience with scanning, records management, and document workflow processes
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and SharePoint
  • Experience using Adobe Acrobat Pro
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Professional demeanor with strong customer service and client support abilities
